Margia is fair and measured when prosecuting and fearless in her defence practice. She is adept at dealing with the most vulnerable in society and has dealt with numerous trials involving children, those with mental health illnesses and physical disabilities.

Margia is a tenacious advocate who practises general crime with a focus on serious sexual offences and fraud. She is particularly noted for her attention to detail when preparing large multi-handed cases including historic cases and for her focused approach under pressure.
Throughout her time at the Bar, Margia has been instructed in many complex cases, from fraud and money laundering offences to serious sexual offences and terrorism cases. She has extensive knowledge of POCA and forfeiture proceedings, having prosecuted on behalf of HMRC for many years including VAT tribunal cases, both as Junior and Leading Counsel.
She is accustomed to dealing with large volumes of material and has a good understanding of digital evidence and cell-site material.
She has been appointed as Grade 3 prosecutor and conducts Rape and Serious Sexual Offence (RASSO) work on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service. She has been appointed to the CPS Specialist Panels dealing with Serious Crime, Fraud and Confiscation.
Margia has spoken at a conference for judges in Abuja, Nigeria on dealing with terrorism cases on behalf of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
