Chambers is proud to announce that Simon Mayo QC has been appointed a Senior Circuit Judge based at the Central Criminal Court with effect from 3 May 2021. Simon started his career at the Bar in Chambers in 1985, and this appointment crowns an outstanding career as a busy and very highly regarded silk of the first rank. Chambers will miss him as a highly valued practitioner and colleague. We are confident he will be a very fine judge and wish him the very best in his new position.
